The luxurous Vactioner Inboard has been developed to meet the needs of discerning boating and touring enthusiasts seeking to combine comfortabel cruising with the outstanding fuel economy of the turbo charged 120HP Mercruiser Diesel.

Its top speed is expected to be in excess of 30 knots, while at its designed cruising speed of 22 knots the boat’s 150 ltr tank is expected to give a range exceeding 700 kilometres.

In addition to the new inboard diesel engine, the new boat features a large transom mounted swim platform.

Marine grade electric rams raise the top to create a protective cover from bow to stern. Clears and side covers are then easily rolled down and snapped into place as required.

The Vacationer is a spacious boat with ample room for fishing and comfortable weekend camping. It will appeal to active Australian families and retirees wishing to combine short live-aboard holidays with the convenience of an affordable trailable boat. With optional rear steps providing easy access while the boat is on its trailer, the Vacationer can easily double as a caravan. Generous storage makes it ideal for holiday adventures.

The Vacationer I/B is approved to carry up to 10 adults and it will comfortably sleep four overnight. A fully-equipped galley includes a 2 burner gas cooktop & BBQ and there is provision for two cooler boxes or a portable refrigerator. Other luxuries include a fresh water shower, toilet/change room, a four speaker sound system.

Its graceful hull has been developed from the proven design of the existing Southbeach range: With its wide, flared bow and generous freeboard, the Vacationer is a very dry boat in all but the most punishing conditions, when forward clears provide ample protection from excessive wind and spray. Towards the stern, the hull’s graceful tumblehome reflects the elegant lines of a bygone era while its superbly sculptured transom and in-built swim platform is more akin to the exquisite lines of an Italian supercar than a luxury cruiser.

When the boat is being trailed or stored, the patented, electrically-operated roof retracts to fit snugly around the coaming. This greatly reduces windage while being trailed and secures the boat against dirt, damage and pilferage while being stored.

Vacationer is designed and built in Australia. It meets Australia’s legal towing width of 2.5 metres.
